Privacy Policy – Teens UnEdited
The fine print

Teens UnEdited Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 10, 2026

Teens UnEdited is a program of Glenn Llopis Group, LLC. Because our program is built for young people ages 13 to 18, this policy is written to be readable by teens as well as their parents, guardians and teachers. Where we say "you," we mean the person using the site, whether that is a teen, a parent or an educator. Where a rule applies only to one of those groups, we say so.

The short version. We collect only what we need to run the program. We do not sell your information. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. A parent or guardian can see, correct or delete their teen's information at any time. Schools that use Teens UnEdited keep control of their students' data. If anything here is unclear, ask us: [email protected].

1. Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy describes how Glenn Llopis Group, LLC ("Teens UnEdited," "we," "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares information when you visit www.teensunedited.com and its subdomains, take the UnEdited Check-In, register for an UnEdited Live session, reserve or buy a book, use "Your Space" (our online curriculum), or communicate with us (together, the "Site" and "Services").

It applies to three groups of people:

  • Teens (ages 13 to 18) using the Site for themselves.
  • Parents and guardians using the parent check-in, family resources or making purchases on a teen's behalf.
  • Educators and schools using the Teens UnEdited program in a classroom, advisory, counseling or faith-based setting.

If you are a school or district, Section 8 governs student data in addition to the rest of this policy.

2. Age requirements

Under 13. The Site and Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email [email protected] and we will take care of it promptly.

Ages 13 to 17. Teens may use the free parts of the Site (reading, the teen check-in, registering for a free live session) with the knowledge of a parent or guardian. Any purchase, paid membership or account that stores information over time must be created or approved by a parent or guardian. We may ask for a parent's email at sign-up so we can confirm that.

18 and over. Adults may use the Site on their own behalf.

3. What we collect

A. Information you give us

  • Name, email address and, if you provide it, phone number and age or grade range.
  • For parents: your name, email, relationship to the teen, and billing information for purchases.
  • For educators: your name, school, role and contact details.
  • Your answers to the UnEdited Check-In (teen or parent version). These are reflections, not a test, and they are not graded.
  • Registrations for UnEdited Live sessions and any questions you submit during a session.
  • Messages you send us, including support requests.
  • Anything you choose to post or share in a group read, live session chat or community space.

B. Information collected automatically

When you use the Site we collect standard technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, referring site and approximate location (city or region, not your exact location). We collect this through cookies and similar tools. See Section 9.

C. Information from schools

If your school enrolls you in the program, the school may share a roster (student name, grade, class) so we can set up access. See Section 8.

What we do not collect. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive information such as health or mental-health diagnoses, government ID numbers, or precise location. The check-in asks how you show up in different rooms; it is not a clinical screening and is not designed to collect health information.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide the Services: deliver your check-in results, run live sessions, give you access to Your Space, fulfill book reservations and orders.
  • Communicate with you: confirmations, reminders about sessions you signed up for, replies to your questions, and, if you opt in, updates about new books and sessions.
  • Point you to the right starting place: for example, suggesting which book fits based on your check-in answers.
  • Improve the program: understanding which sessions and resources help most, in aggregate.
  • Keep the Site safe and working: preventing abuse, fixing problems, complying with law.

We do not use a teen's information for behavioral advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles of minors.

Research and the Unedited Index. Check-in and program results may be combined into aggregate, de-identified statistics (for example, "62% of students in the pilot reported X"). Aggregate data cannot identify you. We do not publish or share individual results.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not sell or rent the personal information of minors under any circumstances.

We share information only:

  • With service providers that help us operate: website hosting and forms, email and text delivery, payment processing, video platform for live sessions, and our online curriculum platform. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • With your school, if you are enrolled through a school program, as described in Section 8.
  • With a parent or guardian, on their verified request (Section 7).
  • When required by law, or to protect the safety of a user, the public or our rights.
  • In a business transfer, if Glenn Llopis Group, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not share information with third parties for their own marketing.

6. Your choices

  • Email and text. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message. For text messages, reply STOP. We will still send transactional messages (like a confirmation for a session you registered for).
  • Check-in. Taking the check-in is optional. You can stop at any time and your partial answers are not saved.
  • Community spaces. Anything you post in a live session chat or group read may be seen by other participants. Do not share personal details there.
  • Cookies. See Section 9.

7. Parent and guardian rights

A parent or legal guardian of a teen under 18 may, at any time:

  • Review the personal information we hold about their teen.
  • Correct it.
  • Delete it, including closing any account.
  • Withdraw consent to further collection or use, in which case we may no longer be able to provide some Services.

To exercise these rights, email [email protected] from the parent email on file, or with enough information for us to verify you are the teen's parent or guardian. We will respond within 30 days. We will not condition a teen's participation in a free activity on giving us more information than is reasonably necessary for that activity.

8. Schools, educators and student data

When a school, district or educator uses Teens UnEdited as part of a classroom, advisory, counseling or faith-based program:

  • The school controls the data. We act as a service provider to the school and use student information only to provide the program to that school, or as the school directs.
  • Student records. Where the program is used by a public school, we treat student information as education records under FERPA and as a "school official" with a legitimate educational interest, under the school's direct control.
  • No advertising. We do not use student information for advertising, and we do not build profiles of students for any purpose other than the program itself.
  • The Unedited Index. Pre- and post-program measures are collected to give the school outcome data. Individual student results are shared with the school, not with us for any other purpose, and aggregate results are de-identified before any wider use.
  • Deletion. At the end of a pilot or program, or on the school's request, we delete or return student data and confirm in writing.
  • Parent access through the school. Parents of enrolled students should direct requests to their school, which can act on them with us.

Schools may request our data-protection addendum by emailing [email protected].

9. Cookies and analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep you signed in to Your Space, understand how the Site is used, and measure whether our own pages and sessions are working. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling them may affect some features.

We use standard analytics tools. On pages built for teens, we do not run third-party advertising trackers.

10. Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; if we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as the law requires.

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above: check-in results and session registrations for the duration of your participation, account information while your account is active, and billing records as required by law. When information is no longer needed we delete or de-identify it.

11. Your Space (online curriculum)

Access to Your Space is provided through a third-party learning platform. Your login and progress are stored there to deliver the curriculum. That platform processes information on our behalf under this policy.

12. Links to other sites

The Site links to other Glenn Llopis sites (theglennllopis.com, glennllopis.com, convictioninstitute.theglennllopis.com) and to outside services such as YouTube. Those sites have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to read them.

13. Your privacy rights under state law

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, or to opt out of certain uses. We honor these requests regardless of where you live. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with privacy laws may exercise these rights by emailing [email protected]. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above and, for material changes affecting teens or student data, notify parents and schools by email before the change takes effect.
